Try-double by Tolmie swings it Cov’s way

COVENTRY director of rugby Rowland Winter hailed replacement Scott Tolmie’s impact off the bench after the hooker’s last-minute try secured a dramatic victory for his side.
The 46th-minute replacement scored a try four minutes after coming on but left the best until last when he crashed over with the clock in the red to hand the hosts maximum points.
Winter said: “I said to Scott at half-time that I need half an hour from him. “I wanted him to come on, get hands on the ball and carry, bring his energy and tempo and he delivered exactly that.
