LOSINGmore matches than you win over the course of a season hardly seems conducive to qualifying for a competition with as grand a title as the European Champions Cup but this is rugby and anything goes. Despite losing 11 of their 21 matches in the PRO14, Cardiff Blues may yet be invited to make the ultimate of back-door entrances.
Should Leinster retain the trophy against Saracens on Saturday, the PRO14 will be entitled to an extra place in the tournament next season.
