Carnegie’s old boy Beech has sting in tail

FORMER Yorkshire Carnegie prop Charlie Beech forced his way over from close range 13 minutes from time to clinch the spoils for Coventry.
However, there was a sting in the tail before the fourth home win in five starts was completely secure. A late Andy Forsyth try sentenced them to a nervy final five minutes.
Biting cold and persistent drizzle made for little flowing rugby, and home director of rugby Rowland Winter recognised his team had to battle hard.
