LEICESTER Lions secured their first win of the season with a hard-earned victory over Sale.
The Lions dominated early territory but it was Sale who scored first when Joe Green got in support of a line break.
The home side took the lead when a lovely long pass from James Stubbs set Jake Sterland free and he found Freddie St John in support.
One minute later the Lions were back on the attack and extended their lead when a clever Luke Bouchier kick found Joe Patrick, who in turn found George Pearson to finish.
