VISITORS Rams held off a strong second-half fightback, from Leeds Tykes, to leave Yorkshire a victory, helped in part by four yellow cards, for the hosts, in the final 20 minutes.
The first-half was largely uneventful, with the conditions putting paid to free-flowing rugby, with the only score of the first-half being a try from the inside centre Morgan Macrae – who found an overlap wide to touch down.
