SEDGLEY Park Tigers hosted Sale FC in a Manchester derby at Park Lane and managed to see off their neighbours on home turf for another year.
Tigers’ scrum-half Jacob Tansey opened the scoring with a try under the sticks after five minutes, with Ollie Glasse converting.
This was rebutted by Sale’s No.9 stealing a try round the side of a five-metre-line scrum in the ninth minute, but a missed conversion put the scores at 7-5 after ten minutes.
