ROTHERHAM took the honours with a solid opening-day display.
The visitors started strongly and were in front as early as the third minute when Morgan Veness crashed through the defence.
Three minutes later an attempted long pass from Will Addison was gratefully scooped up by Jackson Barling to saunter in, with Richard Hayes adding the extras.
