Leeds director of rugby Jon Callard was delighted at his team’s “performance, showing character in spades” fighting back from 14 behind to take a share.
The visitors were on top in the early stages, with their hosts reduced to 13 men in the first ten minutes. However, they were unable to make their numerical advantage count and found themselves trailing from a Tighe Maxwell-Whiteley penalty after 21 minutes.
