Hooker Sam McNulty bagged a brace of first-half tries to give Moseley the perfect platform from which to see off their West Country visitors.
He charged through a gap in the Plymouth defence to post the first points of the game after just three minutes and was then driven over midway through the first period as the Birmingham side threatened to turn the screw.
Winger Aquile Smith had already added a second try for the Red-and-Backs, showing impressive pace to zip his way to the line with all three being ably converted by Dan Lewis...
