CINDERFORD held off a much-improved Bishop’s Stortford second-half charge to claim a narrow victory.
The hosts had fly--half Alfie Orchard sinbinned and then prop Seb Brownhill had to be replaced by Matt Meeks in the opening spell.
Stortford felt Orchard’s most absence keenly in the 21st minute when Matt Lane charged down a kick to set up a chance for George Boulton, who took it gleefully. Reece Boughton added the extras.
