CINDERFORD held the edge in what proved to be a fantastic game with both coaches full of praise for the entertainment on display.
Taunton opened the scoring after eight minutes when Mason burst through and linked with Downs and Banks for Tarling to score for the try of the match.
Walsh converted to give Taunton a seven-point lead which they held for eight minutes before Nathan (poacher) Taylor scored the first of his two tries which was converted by Boughton to level the scores.
