LEEDS Tykes head coach Jon Callard toasted his players’ “effort and endeavour” after a heroic comeback victory over Rams.
The Sycamores side trailed 22-7 at the break only to rally in the second half, scoring 18 unanswered points.
The visitors started like a bat out of hell, securing a try bonus point in the first 40 with scores from Charlie Robson, Tom Vooght, Max Hayman and Connor Hayhow. However, Drew Humberstone only converted one, which his side would regret in a frantic finale.
