A FAST start was the key for Caldy as they carved out a victory at Bishop’s Stortford.
The hosts were slow out of the traps and were 14 points down after nine minutes as Caldy threw themselves at a pretty porous defence. Lucas Titherington and Nathan Rushton scored tries, both converted by Ben Jones.
The home side found brief respite, putting pressure on the restart and winning a penalty that Tom Walker converted.
