Leaders survive a scare to secure key bonus point

LOWLY Canterbury briefly held a two-point lead against Richmond but the league leaders were stung into response and managed to claim a bonus-point win in extra time.
Richmond were quicker into their stride, Tom Hodgson kicking a penalty in the first minute.
Cameron Mitchell almost added to the score in the next play, chipping ahead but was beaten by the bounce.
