RICHMOND’S title hopes suffered a huge blow as Sale came from behind to record a remarkable victory over the leaders at Heywood Road.
A magnificent effort from the home side saw all 20 players put in disciplined performances and despite the narrow scoreline, the Dogs were well worth their victory, dominating both possession and territory.
In fact, Richmond was on the back foot from the very start with former Samoa rugby league international Patrick Ah Van coming close but the final pass was forward.
