BOTTOM-OF-THE-TABLE Loughborough Students, produced one of the biggest upsets of the season as they won their first away game of the current campaign.
Their shock victory – fully deserved against an ordinary Rotherham side – was set up by an outstanding hat-trick by full-back Tim Bitirim, whose pace slashed the Titans’ weakfish defence on 30, 41 and 69 minutes.
And with fly-half Charlie Reed continuing his accurate form – slotting three conversions and a penalty – Loughborough edged it by four tries to two.
