Student fightback held off in thriller

CINDERFORD saw off a determined challenge from the Students in a 13- try encounter.
The visitors got off a flying start when secondrow Thibaud Flament burst though for a converted try in the first minute.
The hosts responded, with full-back Alex Frame following up a kick ahead to score an unconverted try.
A line-out catch and drive saw Cinderford take the lead when hooker Nathan Taylor crashed over. Then, winger Sam Smith showed some good footwork to evade several tackles and score under the posts.
