DANIEL Lewis’ first-half penalty kick saw Cambridge edge out Esher in an enthralling encounter at Molesey Road.
With all the points scored in the first half, Esher did not mount a comeback as the visitors leapfrogged them in the table. Cambridge stamped their mark on the game two minutes in, Benjamin Ibrahim putting the ball over from a maul.
But Esher didn’t take long to level, Billy Harding also scoring from a maul on seven minutes.
