BARNSTAPLE produced a controlled and clinical performance to secure a 16-point away victory over Lymm, establishing a decisive first-half lead that ultimately proved to be unassailable.
The visitors made a strong start, with Viliame Kotobalavu crossing early before Jacob Murphy added the extras and soon followed with a try of his own.
Murphy’s accuracy from the tee helped Barnstaple build momentum, and when Matthew Gohl added a third try, the away side had opened up a commanding advantage.
