TWO SECOND-HALF Luke Stewart tries put visitors Loughborough Students to the sword, and sealed a home victory for Syston.
The hosts set their stall out quickly, in applying instant pressure. To equally a rapid reward, as prop Archie Coldicott crossed for the opening try, which Owen Carroll converted.
Loughborough, though, were next to pierce their opposition defence. Rhys Hulse sprung over the line to open their account, with Ben Webb adding the conversion.
