Lucs leave it late in Exeter’s excitement

SIX-SCORE Luctonians left it late to settle the scoreline as Exeter University served up a second-half scare.
Lucs’ Bryn Goodall hit first, converting himself, before Exeter thrashed over Dewi Thomas who, with Freddie Hirst’s conversion, levelled.
James Wheeler then scored a superb effort off the back of a maul, as Goodall added the extras to reinstate the home side’s advantage.
Again, though, that was reduced. This time, Josh Clark raced over from almost half way for a fine solo effort....
