CAMBORNE were pushed all the way by a brave Redruth side in a game played in appalling conditions in front of a large four-figure crowd who braved the elements.
Redruth kicked-off playing up the slope with the stiff breeze in their favour, and the home forwards looking to take the game to their near neighbours.
The forward exchanges were brutal and uncompromising with no quarter asked nor given.
Sam James looked lively in midfield for the Reds as they bossed the opening period.
