TAUNTON TITANS turned on the style and hit Syston for 50 in a thrilling affair.
After placing a stern visitors’ defence under immediate pressure, the Titans went in for the first try scored by Ewan Guy and converted by Tom Putt after just ten minutes.
Some fine attacking Syston phase-play was then undone, as they knocked the ball into the hands of Putt who raced away for a second try, after 22-minutes, that was extended on three minutes later as Putt landed a penalty.
