Late brace from Bowyer is enough

HINCKLEY RFC secured a first home win against a strong Loughborough Students side.
Hinckley started the stronger with a try from Tom Haywood capitalising off the back of a really dominant rolling maul.
Hinckley dominated the early collisions with some big shots going in, specifically from Nigel Mukarati, Rory Vowles and Archie Appleby.
After 30 minutess Loughborough crossed the line with a try by Eric Nixon, converted by Ben Taylor.
But with Matthew Browne and Haywood crossing, it was 19-7 at the break.
