EXETER University were able to celebrate a solid success over Barnstaple.
The hosts started strongly with Tom Gulley going over the line after two minutes, with a successful conversion by Freddie Hirst.
Brandon Moore kick-started Barnstaple’s campaign with a powerful pick-and-go, swiftly converted by Henry Sellick.
Exeter didn’t take long to respond, with a try from hooker Alex Osborn, pushing over the tryline with brute force 14 minutes later, converted by Freddie Hirst again.
