HINCKLEY came away victorious after a thrilling encounter.
Exeter University started quickly, scoring inside the first ten minutes via Josh MacAndrew, who was carried over by his pack. Hinckley cancelled this out with a maul of their own. Murray Davidson going over.
This momentum continued as Sam Everett darted over. This seemed to wake Exeter up as they forced a yellow for Will Callan, before Dewi Thomas scored in a corner.
