Redruth’s late rally short of the mark

CINDERFORD narrowly beat Redruth thanks to an impressive first-half performance while the visitors left it too late to come out victors.
The home side’s impressive first 40 consisted of a pair of Luke McMahon penalties in the opening encounters as Redruth were punished for ill-discipline.
Cinderford continued to build into the first half and were awarded with a try for their efforts. After several attempts to pierce the Redruth defence, inside centre Hugo Murray bundled over the line.
