Hampson’s drop goal seals victory

THIS was a free-flowing match, both sides moving the ball wide.
That there were only three tries was the result of defences forcing handling errors.
Crusaders were always in the hunt, but once Matt Hampson dropped a goal with eight minutes remaining, Chester managed to pin them back.
Amazingly, the first 20 minutes yielded no tries despite both sides having opportunities.
