Luctonians powered past Exeter University, who more than contributed to an entertaining game.
Charlie Grimes wasted little time opening the scoring for Lucs before Rob Aikman added a second.
And when John Nott swivelled over and Tom Jones converted, the home side led 17-0 after only 12 minutes.
But Exeter hit back when Chris Ballard darted over and Harvey Graham converted.
