The Students from Loughborough proved too strong in the end for their visitors.
A frantic start on a blustery day on Epinal Way saw the Students and Old Reds exchange scores in a ‘nip and tuck’ first 30, with two penalties from Old Reds keeping them within touching distance after two welltaken Students tries.
