HINCKLEY ran riot in the second half to bring the 50 up in one of the country’s oldest derbies. Both clubs were founded in the 1880s, and their rivalry stretches back to Victorian times. The teams know each other well and, with two former Syston players in Hinckley’s squad and another on the coaching staff, the visitors were well aware of the local conditions.
