Wharfedale raced to a comprehensive success at Crow Trees.
Blaydon, though, started the better started and from the second play of the game, they ran the ball from a scrum inside their own half and Fergus Simpson fed in centre Alex Clark who ran in from 50 metres out. John Clarkson converted.
Wharfedale won a penalty after 15 minutes on the Blaydon 22 which Tom Mann kicked a goal.
