WHARFEDALE opened their season with an 11-try festival, spearheaded by Oscar Canny.
The visitors took an early lead with a Ben Pearson penalty before Dale started to open up.
Great play by Sam Gaudie took the ball deep into the visitors 22 and from a quick tap penalty Matt Beesley barged over.
Pearson took Hoppers back into the lead with another penalty before Josh Burridge touched down for Dale’s second.
