NICK Royle scored four times as Caldy ran in a scintillating 17 tries against a struggling Scunthorpe side at Paton Field.
The runaway league leaders were rampant as they outmuscled, outhought and outpaced the deflated visitors, who lie well adrift at the foot of the table.
However, despite some of the dazzling footwork and interplay between the Caldy backs and the power of the pack, typified by man of the match Jack Collister, a young and inexperienced Scunthorpe side battled valiantly throughout.
