Watkins bags brace for Lucs

LUCTONIANS kept up their good form with a fine home win against a dogged Sheffield Tigers in front of a vibrant crowd.
Lucs, playing into the wind in the first half, started the brighter, Josh Watkins showing his usual pace and mobility to put the home side ahead after 25 minutes.
But Tigers were stung into action and they responded almost immediately when they drove Alan Symcox over from a maul with Mark Ireland kicking the extras to give them a 7-5 half-time lead.
