Pall hangs over sad Scunthorpe

IT HAS been a difficult week, as the Scunthorpe players and supporters had to deal with the sad death of their back-row player James Walker.
The game was relocated to their second pitch at Oglesby Park as the home pitch was waterlogged. Caldy started with a bang and scored through Ben Jones, who converted his own try.
The leaders scored again through Nick Royle while Scunthorpe were awarded a number of penalties but could not convert the territory, even though Royle received a yellow card.
