FOURTEEN-MAN Macclesfield got just a second win of the campaign by downing Leicester Lions.
Macc opened the scoring through a try by Sam Broster, when a grubber kick picked him out, but Leicester quickly levelled through Aaron Martin after clever work by the away backline.
A Macc lineout was mauled over the line when Leicester’s pack were overpowered, as Thomas Brand dotted down, and the hosts extended their lead through scrum-half Jonny Mason following a clever dummy.
