LONDON Welsh earned a nail-biting home win over Canterbury, with Harry Breeze’s 79thminute try.
Welsh looked lively from the off but were thwarted by organised Canterbury’s defence.
An even opening ended with James Walker sneaking over, before Frank Reynolds coolly converted. Welsh soon found scrum-dominance, and lofted a penalty down-field.
From a driving maul, Tom Williams athletic finish brought a response as Matt Hodgson converted.
