THE agricultural east outshined the commercial west as Canterbury took the honours in this Kent derby.
Canterbury’s combination of an imposing defensive set, quality performances in the pack and Frank Reynolds pulling the strings at 10 proved too much for Oaks.
Canterbury were well-up for the occasion and while they might have enjoyed the better of the 50/50 instances, they put in a solid first half.
