MATCHES between these two teams are generally open, high-scoring affairs – but the horrendous weather put a stop to that!
Bury opened the scoring with a Ben Penfold penalty. But Barnes hit back with Iago Davies sniping down the blind-side, Graham Harvey converted.
Ruraidh Williams scored a converted try for Bury from a successful catch and drive, before Daniel Robertshaw repaid the compliment for Barnes, Graham converting for a 10-14 lead.
