CANTERBURY moved to within three points of the division’s summit with a hard-fought win, battling against both indiscipline and a rugged visiting side to claim the points.
Indeed, they were dealt a sucker punch almost directly from kick-off, Park centre Kyan Braithwaite bulldozing through for the opening try of the game within a minute.
And, had it not been of the boot of Frank Reynolds, Canterbury may well have been out of the contest before the hour mark.
The home playmaker kept the scoreboard ticking over...
