CANTERBURY edged past Henley Hawks in a bruising encounter thanks to an excellent defensive performance that nullified the home side’s attacking threat.
Despite the Hawks building a 10-3 half-time advantage thanks to an early Max Titchener penalty and Nelly Kinniburgh try, it was the Kent side who looked more composed after the interval and deservedly came away with the points.
