Dunne’s hat-trick proves in vain for Welsh

THE battle of the promoted teams proved a tight affair before Oundle came out on top.
Kieran Frost made the first inroads for the home side two minutes in, his try converted by Ben Young.
London Welsh got a score back through winger Adam Dunne after 11 minutes, also converted.
Oundle forwards continued to impress and prop Taylor Gourlay crashed over as Oundle stretched ahead 12-7.
Welsh’s Adam Nixon almost immediately pegged it back with a score to make it 12-12.
