Barnes show their respect

Roughly every seven years, November 11 falls on a Saturday and last weekend National Two East club Barnes honoured the date with a series of events to raise money for the Royal Marines Association.
Over the past decade, the club has benefited from both current and ex-military people playing at the club. Barnes honorary secretary, Rich Fenech, said: “It all started in 2013 when two infantry guys joined. They each recruited a mate; then they brought a mate and so on.”
