REDRUTH did all they could to keep the title race alive until the final day of the season with a comprehensive win over Barnstaple.
They produced some champagne rugby, royally entertaining the large home crowd and leaving Barnstaple clutching at shadows.
Redruth struck early with a well-worked try for wing Kyle Bradley, who again showed his lethal finishing. Fly-half Fraser Honey kicked the first of his nine conversions in a faultless kicking display.
