OWEN Thomas’ trusty boot proved the difference as Guernsey edged out Barnes in a thriller.
The Raiders’ fly-half found himself out wide with the scores level at 26-26 with 12 minutes left and unerringly struck his conversion between the posts to complete a wonderful second-half fightback by the hosts in which Charlie Currie, Thomas Ceillam and Michael Jamieson all scored.
