A PATCHED-UP Westcliff fought tooth and nail, but came up short against a strong Henley side in atrocious conditions at The Gables.
The home side’s injury crisis is such that several semi-retired stalwarts were called upon for a game in which driving rain made running rugby difficult at best.
Henley opened their account after 25 minutes courtesy of a well-worked try from Alex Bradley, converted by James Love.
