ANOTHER gallant and fighting performance by Westcliff ultimately failed to find reward.
Early Westcliff pressure went unrewarded and a loose ball allowed Henley No.8 Sam Lunnon to touch down, with Ben Bolster converting.
Shortly afterwards, a break down the blindside saw Henley double their lead courtesy of a try from Ewan Fenley, converted again by Bolster Pressure in the Westcliff 22 set up Bolster for Henley’s third try, and things looked bleak for the Essex side.
