LONDON Irish Wild Geese avoided relegation from National League 2 South despite losing.
Barnes’ loss to the promoted Bishops Stortford and Irish’s four-try bonus point meant there was some cause for celebration.
They got off to the worst possible start after the Falcons scored two tries in the opening ten minutes through Alex Bradley and Bevon Armitage.
