TOMBest’s third successful penalty for Canterbury five minutes before time proved to be the difference between these two sides in a wholly entertaining end of season encounter.
Cinderford opened the scoring when scrum-half Alex Frame went over for a try which James Moffat converted.
The home side hit back immediately when winger Piers Richardson scored a try which Best converted.
The visitors went back in front with a try from Will Keenan, but Best kicked two penalties to restore the lead for Canterbury.
